So many times I've explained to people that tons of my business comes from referrals- and in my experience it's one of the easiest ways to build your business. So without further ado, some thoughts on why you might like to check out this Master Class.

Referrals.

They are the gold standard of business development. 

Why? 

People are 4 times more likely to buy when referred by a friend. 

Isn't that crazy? But really, it's not.

Think about how you buy skin care or pick a hair salon. I pretty much ask other people what they use. And if I'm not actually asking someone I know, then I'm obsessively reading reviews and checking out youtube and amazon. Which is essentially an online referral.


I know that "doing a launch" and buying facebook and instagram ads sounds really fun.

Online marketing seems to be what all the cool kids are doing in order to grow their businesses. And I certainly think that online marketing is an important component of business growth for all businesses.


But for many of us, most of our revenue comes through referrals. 

 

Here is why I like referrals: 

1. They are the easiest to close. Referrals close at a much higher rate than random inbound leads. A referral already has social proof and a testimonial so it makes closing the business much faster and easier. 

2. They are typically ideal clients. If one of your ideal clients refers some business, it's highly likely that the referral is going to be an ideal client too. I love how that works!
